Our Beginner Yoga course is a gentle, step-by-step introduction designed for real people - not flexible bodies or perfect poses.

​

You’ll learn the basics in a small, supportive group, with a teacher who explains everything clearly and meets you where you are.

PRICE: $300 (includes a 6 week unlimited membership to Sacred!)

START DATE: 25th February (Wednesday) 

WHAT TO BRING: Comfy clothes and a water bottle! We have yoga mats and props for you to borrow.

Who is the beginner yoga course suitable for?

Our course is perfect for anyone new to yoga, those returning after a break, or individuals wanting to dive deeper into foundational practices.

What should I wear or bring to the class?

Wear comfortable, breathable clothing that allows for movement and a water bottle. We have yoga mats and props so no need to bring them unless you want to! 

​

Do I need prior yoga experience?

Not at all! Our beginner course is specifically designed for those with little to no yoga experience. Our instructors will guide you every step of the way.

​

What can I expect in a typical class?

Classes will focus on foundational postures, breathwork, and mindfulness. Each session builds on the previous one, gradually introducing you to the world of yoga.​

​

How long are the classes, and how often do they meet?

Classes typically last around 60 minutes and meet once a week on Wednesday night at 7 pm for the duration of the 6-week course.

Can I join the course if I have physical limitations or health concerns?

Absolutely. Our experienced instructors will provide modifications to accommodate various fitness levels and address specific concerns. It's always a good idea to consult with your healthcare provider before starting any new exercise program.

I cannot be present for one (or a few) scheduled sessions, can I still enrol?

Life happens. If you miss a week, you’re still very welcome. Let your teacher know and we’ll help you re-enter smoothly so you don’t feel behind.

Will I be sore after the classes?

You might feel a little “used” in the best way, like you’ve moved muscles you don’t normally reach. But this course is designed to be gentle and supportive, and you’ll always have options to make it feel right for your body.​​​

Can I come to other classes at Sacred?

Of course! Your course comes with an 6-week unlimited membership to Sacred so you can try our other classes such as yin, breathwork and, of course, our yoga!
