FAQs

Who is this course for?
This course is designed for mums in the first 12 months postpartum who want a safe, supportive return to movement. It’s suitable whether you’ve exercised before or are coming back after a long break.

Do I need to have done yoga or pilates before?
No experience is needed. Everything is taught from the ground up, with clear guidance and options offered throughout. The focus is on rebuilding safely, not keeping up.
Is this course safe after birth?
Yes. Classes are designed specifically for the postnatal body, with an emphasis on core strength, pelvic floor support, stability, and gradual progression. Movement is slow, intentional, and adaptable.

How long after birth can I start?
Most mums join once they’ve received clearance from their healthcare provider, often around 6–8 weeks postpartum. If you’re unsure, you’re welcome to reach out and chat with us first.

What if I had a C-section or complications?
This course is suitable for mums who’ve had a C-section or a vaginal birth. We encourage you to let us know beforehand so we can support you appropriately. All movements can be modified based on your needs.

What does a typical class involve?
Classes blend yoga and pilates to focus on breath, core connection, gentle strength-building, mobility, and rest. Expect supportive guidance, practical movement, and space to listen to your body.

Can I bring my baby?
Babies are welcome as long as they are not yet crawling. We understand babies may need feeding, settling, or cuddles and the space is held with that in mind.

What if I miss a week?
Life with a baby can be unpredictable. If you miss a session, we’ll support you to ease back in the following week without feeling behind.

What should I bring?
Comfortable clothes you can move in, a water bottle, and anything you need for your baby. Mats and props are provided.

Will this help with core strength and confidence?
Yes. Over the six weeks, you’ll gradually rebuild core strength, improve stability and posture, and feel more confident moving in your body again, without pressure or rushing the process.

Is this about ‘getting back in shape’?
No. This course isn’t about bouncing back or changing your body. It’s about recovery, strength, confidence, and reconnecting with movement in a way that feels supportive and sustainable.
